These drawings were done in 2006/2007 during my travels through Guatemala and Mexico, where I was first introduced to Lhasas' music only to learn more about her in Montreal where she resided and passed away on January 1st 2009. Her lyrics, language, and melody were and will continue to be a melancholy source of comfort and inspiration.
